There are 17 laboratories available (excluding an in vitro cell culture lab and animal house) with adequate sets of equipments and apparatus, where all the students in a practical class can simultaneously perform the same experiment. A sophisticated instrumentation laboratory with FTIR, Double Beam UV-Visible Spectrophotometers, Spectrofluorimeter, analytical HPLC, Preparative HPLC and HPTLC is available for teaching and research activities.
A centralized animal house with air-conditioned facility approved by Committee for the Purpose of Control and Supervision of Experiments on Animals (CPCSEA), New Delhi (Approval no: 685/PO/Re/S/2002/CPCSEA) is available for experimentation of laboratory animals. The animal house facility is available to boost the teaching, training and research facilities and to meet the growing demand for high quality laboratory animals in emergent field of Experimental Pharmacology. Qualified veterinarians and technical personnel are always at hand to help carry out research and keep it in accordance with the standards established by the Committee for the Purpose of Control and Supervision of Experiments on Animals (CPCSEA).
The Students' hostel is well furnished and comfortable with adequate facilities and is indeed an ideal place to stay and study.
Separate hostels for boys and girls are available with all the requisite facilities. Serene and secure, the hostels have been designed to recreate a home-like atmosphere for the students. A resident warden is available round the clock to ensure that the students' requirements are met as well as to maintain the decorum. Medical attention is also instantly made available. For recreation, there are indoor and outdoor games as well as television.
The youth red cross society of KMCH College of Pharmacy was established in the year of 2008.The members were involved in various activities like promotion of health and hygiene, service to others, Eradication of social evils such as Drug De-addiction, HIV/AIDS awareness, Promotion of Voluntary Blood Donation etc. in the past years.
Activity Report
On behalf of "National Youth day" (12th January 2016) our YRC members/students organized awareness programme about the personal health and involved in basic health checkup for the society. The members created awareness about health and hygiene, diabetes, obesity, smoking cessation among the local people. The programme was inaugurated by the head of the institution Dr.A.Rajasekaran by 9.00 AM.
The following basic level health checkup was conducted for the public.
Monitoring random blood sugar level.
Identifying body mass index.
Monitoring blood pressure.
Calculating frame size.
Awareness leaflets on diabetes and the benefits of quitting smoking to the public were provided by the YRC members/students.
Awareness Programme
The Tamil Nadu M.G.R. Medical University sponsored one day national seminar on Emerging and Re-emerging Edes-Borne Diseases Zika and Dengue-an Update was conducted 26 July 2016 to create awareness about dengue among the people.
Fire and Rescue Services Department of the Government of Tamil Nadu, Coimbatore conducted demonstration programme about the fire and rescue services in our campus on 9th august 2016.The Department also provided advice on fire protection measures for high-rise buildings, factories, laboratories, places of public resort and fairs and festivals.

Women development cell is established in the college to enhance the understanding of issues related to women and to make the college campus a safe place for women students and faculty members.
