Mahendra Institute of Engineering and Technology has well-furnished separate Hostels for Boys and Girls. Each Hostel is facilitated with single bed, double bed and dormitory arrangements. Purified drinking water, hot water and cold water are provided round the clock. There is a 24-hour power backup, enabling adequate comfort to the residents. Facilities for communication, entertainment, and indoor games such Chess, Carom and modern Gym are also extended. Each Hostel houses a Common reading room, Dining hall and requisite medical facilities. The Cell has grown to become an important part of the extracurricular activities of the students. The Cell seeks to create awareness about important issues related to women and provides a forum for discussion and deliberation and invited talks for health care, gender equality, work ethics, etc.
