Anil Surendra Modi School of Commerce has a vibrant and passionate sporting environment accommodating the interests and needs for both professional and amateur players. At the national level the football team took home the gold medal at BITS Pilani rink football event along with the squash team which finished third in the same event. The basketball team also proved its metal with a 3rd place finish at the FIBA nationals and FLAMES national level college festival. This year also saw 2 players from the squash team enter and gain a strong foothold on the national circuit
At the international level the squash team saw a new accomplished member take the reins at the top position. Harsh Wadhwa a freshman entered the Asian juniors with an 11th position finish to further gain a strong hold for the institution at the international level. “The number one benefit of information technology is that it empowers people to do what they want to do. It lets people be creative. It lets people be productive. It lets people learn things they didn't think they could learn before, and so in a sense it is all about potential” - Steve Ballmer, Ex-CEO, Microsoft.
