Canteen- The institute has a cafeteria which is kept opened for 15 hrs. a day . It provides a wide range of eatables including Tea, coffee, samosaas, burger, chowmein, dosa etc. and some essential stationery items too.
The students refresh themselves in the cafeteria in prescribed off hours. It is especially useful for the hostellers as it is opened for the whole night during the examination period.
Hostel- After a long day of classes RIT offers, in its hostel a comfortable place to relax which makes one feel at home. All students of the college have been lodged in two separate hostels for boys and girls, Which does not include day scholars. These furnished hostels are equipped with modern amenities and facilities for sports and recreations such as T.V. outdoor games, indoor games etc. Net surfing facilities are also available a Wi-Fi enabled system.
Each student, whether a resident of the hostel or a non resident day scholar, is required to abide by the rules and regulations of the College.
Sports- Indoor games / activities like Table Tennis, Chess, Carom etc. are provided by the institute. RIT is also having outdoor sports facilities for Cricket, Football, Volleyball, Badminton etc. The spacious grounds of the institute are maintained for this purpose.
Health Care- First aid and elementary medical facilities are available in the hostel through a qualified and highly experienced MBBS doctor, Dr. M.P. Garg. In case of emergency, patient student is taken to the nearest medical practitioner / hospital for which a van is available on 24x7 hrs. basis in the campus and the local guardian of the student is immediately informed.The local guardian takes charge of the ward thereafter and all medical expenses shall be borne by him. The entire responsibility of treatment will rest with the parent / local guardian/ student concerned.

"The Cultural Committee", as it is popularly referred to is aSWAR responsible for all the cultural events in the Institute round the year. It comprises seven sections which take care of the varied fields of cultural events.
In today’s world, an appropriate job is of utmost importance for all the graduating Engineers, which provides full satisfaction to the students after completion of their courses. Leading companies across various disciplines come for campus placements at RIT. In technical courses, nearly all the students are placed even one year before the completion of the course. The Placement Cell is able to provide on campus, joint campus and off campus placement to the students.
This achievement has been the result of the dedicated team comprising of the TNP officers, student coordinators and faculty members that constantly interacts with the corporate world and helps prepare students for their careers.
Ragging of students is forbidden and is punishable, either by fine or rustication from college. Ragging is defined as willful injury or threat of injury, physical or mental to any fellow student. Activities such as initiation. Or ragging of students which lower human dignity, cause traumatic feeling and leave emotional scars in the personalities of the victims are strictly forbidden as per the instructions given by Honorable Supreme Court.
