Every year certain number of books has to be added as per AICTE norms. However, the last purchase of books into the library had been on 6th month of 2006. Hence latest books for the diploma courses are not available in the library. As per the revised curriculum implemented in 2010, news subjects were also added, for which new titles are to be procured. Moreover, the efficiency audit conducted by the team from AGs office also observed to enhance the library facility. So, Purchase of books are recommended at an estimated cost of Rs. 400000/-. Proper management is essential for the smooth running of institutional library. As part of this, library has to be automated. This necessitates procurement of at least one computer and a printer into the library. Accordingly we propose to purchase the same. .
