Sapthagiri college of engineering is built over a land extent of 6.25 acres. There is enough lung space (Circulation area - walk ways,staircases, lobbies) which is approximately 25% of the total built up area. The total built up area is 17249 sq. m.The institutional area (instructional area, administrative area, amenities area) is 12937 sq. m.

On the adminstrative side, the college has an easily accessible office  of the principal, director. Each department has its own office with a separate cabin for the Head of the Department. The college also has faculty rooms. Other administrative sections are maintenance, security, house keeping, examination contol office and placement office
