SPIHER Chennai Campus Facilities - Hostel Fees, Infrastructure, Address

St. Peter's Institute of Higher Education and Research has a campus spread over 32.26 acres of land with a built-up area of 66,875 square metres. SPIHER has a unique library network on the campus comprising of the postgraduate library, the departmental libraries, central library, book bank section, and hostel libraries. The library has a large volume of books, project reports, CD-ROMS, and other reference material. 

The campus has separate hostels for boys and girls with 164 and 156 rooms respectively, and rooms are there on a single, double, triple and quadruple basis, and have attached washrooms. The building area is 17,000 sq.m. The kitchens are also well-equipped and have modern cooking systems. Hostels are replete with all necessary amenities, and there is a dining hall as well. Medical facilities are also provided to the students as and when the need arises. 

The campus also has several technical and cultural clubs so that students are engaged in extra-curricular activities as well. Names of some of the clubs are Fine Arts club, Robotics club, Photography club, Social Welfare club, Short Film making club. In addition to these activities, the institute also has Centre for Foreign Languages which teaches German and Japanese to the students.

Separate hostels are available for boys and girls with 164 and 156 rooms respectively with the total building area of 17,000 sq.m. Rooms are available for single, double, triple and quadruple accommodation with attached bathrooms. Kitchens are well equipped with modern steam cooking systems. Clean and hygienic dining halls are maintained throughout. Hostels are provided with reading rooms, TV rooms and recreation halls. A doctor visits the college/hostels on all days to render medical attention for the needy students
