The College has excellent infrastructure to provide this basic facilities :
The College has a Biodiversity Research Centre under which One project is running : Preparation of People‘s Biodiversity Register (PBR) of Tarakeswar Municipality of Tarakeswar Block of Hooghly District , Sanctioned by West Bengal Biodiversity Board, Department of Environment, Government of West Bengal. The Biodiversity Lab of the college is utilized by the research scholar and student of neighbouring college.
The four N.S.S. units of the College approved by the Burdwan University has started functioning since January 1990.
College students, both male and female, may join the scheme as one of the Co-curricular Programmes under the guidance of a Programme officer who is a member of the teaching staff.
Its regular activities include adoption of a village, road repairing, cleaning the college premises, mass literacy campaign and various other social service campaigns.
