The college is functioning in the lush green atmosphere of Thatchur, Arni. The well developed infra structure and the intellectual academic training to the students facilitates an extra ordinary education and technical skills.

Building Infra Structure

The college is periodically enriching its infrastructure day by day. Institution is much grateful to the Govt. of Tamil nadu and Anna University Chennai to receive the grant of Rs.26 crores towards the construction of this buildings with hostel amenities. The college offers well equipped laboratories and class rooms for all departments. The college is effectively functioning in academic and administration for the welfare of students. The newly constructed ATM centre facilitates the staffs and students to accomplish their money transaction at any moment. The hostel buildings for both boys and girls hostels comprise one common dining hall and Ground + First Floor for both boys and girls hostel. To Accommodate more number of student in hostel the university has kindly approved for the second floor construction works in both hostels and the civil works are under full swing.

Adequate measures are also under progress for mobilizing the funds through various government agencies like UGC, Department of Science and Technology and from TEQIP scheme of AICTE.

Hostel facility is provided to the the students of UCEA with a a home-like environment for those who resides at very long distance from the location of the institution. 

The Diners of the mess is separate for boys and girls hostels. Statutorily, hostel accommodation is available only for the students of University college of Engineering Arni. Hostel blocks are available for both boys and girls to accommodate strength of 500 students. The hostel is running on, no loss and no gain basis. The total expenditure for boarding and providing amenities to all hostel dwellers shall be met from the residential and other applicable charges collected from the hostel inmates.

The students can approach any of the above listed officers for help, guidance and grievance redressal. Representations to higher officers must be forwarded through proper channel.
