The college was established in the year 2001 and over the years has made a mark for itself in terms of the quality of infrastructure available. The college, with an area of over 32 acres, has ample space for all the facilities that are needed in an engineering institution to provide modern technical education. This beautifully landscaped campus has all the facilities that are needed as part of the curricula of JNTUH and also as per the provisions of AICTE. Vidya Vikas Campus has all modern amenities to pursue education with undivided attention. The campus at Chevella has well furnished residential accommodation for teaching and non-teaching staff and separate residential blocks for boys with huge dining hall and recreation room with television. Spacious and well ventilated rooms are allotted to the students on a sharing basis. The students are provided with individual lockers and study tables. Senior wardens constantly monitor the needs of the students and play the role of local guardians. As the residential premises are very close to the academic block, students have the advantage of access to library at all times.
Today, Vidya Group has students not only from different states in the country but also from abroad. To meet the demands of NRI students and foreign nationals, it has plans to build a separate block that suits their life style. These air-conditioned studio apartments will be allotted on a twin sharing or three some basis.
