GATE COAP 2022: Round 2 Seat Allotment Result, Dates, Registration, Eligibility, Counselling, Eligibility, Offer Acceptance, IIT M.Tech Admission, FAQs

GATE COAP: IIT Bombay announced the GATE COAP 2022 round 2 seat allotment on May 27, 2022. The last date to accept round 2 seat allotment is May 29, 2022. Candidates can check the GATE COAP 2022 schedule at the official website of IIT Bombay, coap.iitb.ac.in. Earlier, IIT Bombay announced the GATE COAP 2022 round 1 seat allotment on May 20, 2022. Candidates can accept the allotted seat till May 22, 2022.

The registration process for GATE COAP 2022 started on March 20, 2022. The candidates can access the GATE COAP 2022 registration link from below -

The Common Offer Acceptance Portal (COAP) 2022 has been updated with the latest GATE 2022 counselling dates. Although the official GATE COAP 2022 website says these are tentative dates but the candidates have to assume these dates as the final ones. The detailed round-wise schedule for the current GATE COAP seat allotment process can be found in the following table.

COAP plays a vital role in filling the M.Tech seats in participating institutes, which are IITs. What is COAP? 

COAP stands for Common Offer Acceptance Portal, and it is a website where all of the participating IITs and ISc Bangalore announce their seat allocation results. Candidates with a valid GATE score must register online at the COAP portal along with the institute for admission to M.Tech courses at any of the participating IITs or ISc Bangalore. The CCMT site is used to apply for M.Tech programmes at NITs and GFTIs. Candidates must verify their seat allotment status and accept or reject the seat via the COAP site.

NEET MDS 2022 result has been announced on May 27, and the NBE has also released the cutoff score. The individual scorecard of NEET PG 2022 will be released on June 2. Compared to the previous years, there has been a slight increase in the cutoff for all categories.

In 2021, the cutoff for the General/ EWS category was 259 marks, and there has been no change in the cutoff for reserved categories.

As per the official result notice issued by NBE, one question asked in NEET MDS 2022 exam has been found incorrect, and marks have been awarded to all candidates for the said question. The dates for the counselling process will be notified by MCC in June.
