NID Tie-Breaker Policy for B.Des Admissions: The National Institute of Design (NID) administers the NID DAT for selecting students for its esteemed B.Des and M.Des programs. When there's a tie in exam scores, NID has a specific policy to break the tie and decide the final merit list. The test consists of two stages: NID DAT Prelims and NID DAT Mains. After the Prelims, a merit list is made using the tie-breaker criteria, and candidates are chosen for the Mains. The NID DAT final merit list considers scores from all rounds of admission, following the NID 2024 tie-breaking policy.
