Further, students must have obtained a certificate in General Nursing and Midwifery and registered as R.N.R.M. with the State Nurses Registration Council. ST. Mary's College of Nursing is affiliated to Atal Bihari Vajpayee Medical University (ABVMU). If you need a seat for B.Sc Nursing, you need to check the eligibility criteria and follow these steps: Your minimum age for admission shall be 17 years on 31st December of the year in which admission is sought.  Minimum education required: You must be 10+2 class passed with Science (PCB) & English Core/English Elective with an aggregate of 45% marks from recognized board under AISSCE/CBSE/ICSE/SSCE/HSCE or other equivalent Board. You should be medically fit. You must appear in the 10+2 examination in Science conducted by the National Institute of Open School with 45% marks. The ST. Mary's College of Nursing Hostel stay is mandatory for BSc Nursing.

In general, the admission procedure for ST. Mary s College of Nursing may involve the following steps:

  • Application: Obtain the application form from the college either online or through offline means, depending on their application process. Fill out the form accurately and provide the required documents, which may include educational transcripts, identity proof, passport-size photographs, etc.
  • Eligibility: For B.Sc. and B.Sc. (Post Basic) The candidate must have passed a 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognized school/board. For ANM - The candidate must be 17 years of age or before 31st December of the year in which admission is sought. GNM eligibility is Registered ANM with a passing mark. 
  • Merit List and Admission: After evaluating the application forms and eligibility criteria the college will publish a merit list or selection list of candidates who have been offered admission. Dear Manisha, 

Yes, you can get admission to a B.Sc Nursing course at ST. Mary’s College of Nursing. However, you have to make sure that you are eligible for admission. As per the eligibility criteria, for B.Sc Nursing admission at ST. Mary’s College of Nursing students have to pass class 12 from the science stream with at least 45% marks in PCB. Also, you have to be medically fit and shall have completed 17 years as on December 31 of the admission year. Note that the hostels are mandatory for BSc Nursing students.
