Government Degree College (GDC), located in Paloura, Jammu and Kashmir, was established in 2008 to promote research and innovation through its courses in humanities, education and science. Affiliated with the University of Jammu, GDC Paloura provides world-class education and encourages its students to reach their full potential. The courses offered at GDC Jammu are at the undergraduate level. 

The degrees offered include B.A and B.Sc. The courses offered in Govt. Degree College Paloura Jammu is at undergraduate levels only. The Govt Degree College Mishriwala Jammu B.Sc degree offers both medical and non-medical specialisations. GDC Paloura College Jammu offers several subject combinations including EVS as one of the compulsory subjects. For language course options candidates can choose from either English, Hindi, Urdu or Dogri. The GDC Jammu fee structure is nominal, making the courses affordable to every student irrespective of their background.
