IIT Dharwad hostel comprises two girls hostel (Hostel 1 B and C), two boys hostel (H1 and H2) and WALMI hostels. There are separate accommodation facilities for boys and girls. B.Tech students are provided accommodation in the on-campus building. IIT Dharwad hostels in the permanent campus are divided into first-year and senior-year hostels. The first-year hostel is located near the administrative building and the second-year hostel is located behind the campus. Each hostel is under the responsibility of a warden.
