The IMI Noida courses one can opt for are Pre-Sea and Post-Sea programmes, which are approved by DG Shipping under the Ministry of Shipping. The most popular courses are Diploma in Nautical Science (DNS) and B.Tech in Marine Engineering. Post-sea value-added courses are also available. The International Maritime Institute fees range from Rs 2.20 lakh to Rs 2.25 lakh approximately. It will vary based on the degree level and duration of the course.

IMI Noida Fees Structure and Eligibility Criteria

With a broad selection of Pre-Sea and Post-Sea courses, IMI is the only maritime institute in Northern India. The institute's goal is to effectively represent the maritime sector in all communications. Being affiliated with IMU Chennai, it is the first maritime institute in North India to provide a B.Tech programme in Marine Engineering. Also, another popular course is the Diploma in Nautical Science, admission to which is based on the OPEN-NET Examination conducted by IMU. Well-designed workshops with all the necessary tools are offered to the students for proper learning and training. The IMI Noida DNS fees for application is Rs 2,000 which can be paid in cash or demand draft (DD).

IMI Noida Popular Courses and Fee Details

In the north of India, where 60-70% of the maritime labour is from, there has long been a need for a training school for seagoing cadets. As a result, IMI Noida was created as a special training institution designed to tackle the problems of the present and the future. The Indian Registry of Shipping has rated it as "Excellent," grade A1.

B.Tech in Marine Engineering

It is a four-year-long programme the admission to which is based on the IMU-CET examination. The International Maritime Institute BTech fees for Marine Engineering is Rs 9 lakh for four years.

Diploma in Nautical Science (DNS)

It is a one-year-long diploma programme. The IMI Noida DNS fees are Rs 2.20 lakh for one year.

The other courses offered here include the one-year-long Graduate Mechanical Engineer (GME) / Diploma in Marine Engineering, Electro-Technical Officers (ETO) course and three-year-long B.Tech in Marine Engineering lateral entry.
