MMC Madurai Fees Structure & Courses List 2024-25

Madurai Medical College offers UG, PG, Diploma and Certificate Courses in various specializations.

The UG courses are offered mainly in streams like Medical, Nursing, and Pharmacy respectively. Apart from the UG courses, the institute offers some PG higher specialization courses in the field of Neuro-Surgery, Cardiothoracic Surgery, Neurology, Cardiology, Pediatric Surgery, and Plastic surgery. The duration of all these courses may vary as it depends upon the field chosen.

Other than these higher specialization courses, Doctorate of Medicine (MD)  and Master of Pharmacy( M.Pharm) PG courses are also offered at MMC Madurai for the duration of 3-year and 2-year respectively.The students who have completed the UG course in the following disciplines such as Anatomy, Anesthesia, Forensic Medicine, General Medicine, Microbiology, Pediatrics, Pathology, Pharmacology, Physiology, and Psychiatry are eligible to pursue the MD course.

The college fee for M.Pharma is Rs 20,750 and for MD is Rs 33,500 per annum. The institute also offers diploma programs at UG and PG levels. The duration of UG Diploma programs is of 2-year and offered in a variety of specializations like DMLT, DMRTT, DMRDT, and D.Pharmacy. Along with that, several certificate courses are also provided at the institute with 1-year duration and seat intake between 20 to 100 which varies depending upon the type of certification opt. Madurai Medical College has an academic staff of over 300 members, which provides expertise, proper guidance, and support to students so that they can achieve the quality education needed for a successful career.
