Aarupadai Veedu Institute of Technology Courses & Fees 2024
Aarupadai Veedu Institute of Technology courses are offered to interested candidates at both undergraduate as well as postgraduate levels. The courses at AVIT Chennai are offered in the stream of engineering, technology and management. The courses offered by the institute include BE, B.Tech, ME, M.Tech & MBA. All these courses are offered by the institute in full-time, part-time as well as lateral entry to interested candidates. The course curriculum is approved by AICTE, New Delhi. The duration of the UG full-time courses is 4 years, 3.5 years for part-time and 3 years for lateral entry courses. The duration of full-time PG courses is 2 years and 3 years for part-time courses at AVIT Chennai. Nearly, admission to more than 1400 seats is offered to the students at the institute. Admission to AVIT Chennai courses is offered on the basis of the merit of the candidates in the last qualifying exam. Additionally, for admission to BE/BTech courses, TNEA counselling ranks as well as JEE Main scores are accepted by the institute. For admission to PG courses, GATE entrance exam scores and ranks are also accepted by the institute.
To become eligible for the BE/B.Tech courses, candidates must have passed class 12 from a recognised board with Physics, Chemistry and Maths as main subjects with a minimum of 45% marks. Candidates must have a BE/B.Tech degree in the relevant stream to become eligible for the AVIT Chennai ME/M.Tech course. There are a total of 960 seats available for BE/B.Tech courses and 108 seats available for ME/M.Tech courses. The AVIT Chennai fees for the UG course specialisations range between Rs 70,000 to Rs 2.0 Lakhs annually. The fees for ME/M.Tech courses range between Rs 50,000 and Rs 80,000.
