NIBM Pune Expected Cut Off 2024

NIBM Pune CAT cutoff 2024 is the basis for admission into the institute’s PGDM(B&FS) 2024-26 batch. CAT scores will be the benchmark for cutoff of NIBM Pune. The scores of exam like  XAT 2024, CMAT 2024, GMAT 2024 and GRE 2024 will be converted into scores equivalent to CAT 2023. Let me tell the this thing that if you want to take admission in MBA than the eligibility for that is Pass with 55% aggregate marks in Bachelor’s degree (any discipline) or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPUNEST or CAT or MAT or XAT or NMAT or CMAT and Interview Or Completed Company Secretary (CS) from Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI), subject to qualifying Interview Or Completed Chartered Accountancy (CA) from Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI), subject to qualifying Interview Or Completed Cost & Management Accountancy (CMA) from Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICAI)., subject to qualifying Interview, you need to fulfil this eligibility criteria for taking admission in LPU. Dear Student,

The CMAT cutoff for admission to the PGDM course at National Institute of Bank Management (NIBM), Pune was 94 percentile. This year's cutoff is expected to be similar or higher, so you may not be able to gain admission with an 89.25 percentile rank.

Please note that your graduation score does make you eligible to apply for the institute as it requires 50% marks in graduation.

What is the NIBM Pune cutoff for CAT & XAT?

The minimum qualifying score released by NIBM Pune for 2023-25 batch admission based on CAT 2023 was 75 for the general category, 65 for the EWS and NC-OBC category, 60 for the SC category and; 50 for the ST and PwD categories. Similarly, the overall NIBM Pune XAT cutoff for the general category was 75 percentile.

How will the NIBM Pune 2024 cutoff be determined?

NIBM Pune cut-off 2024 will be based on multiple factors like the total number of seats available, students appearing and qualifying the exam, difficulty level of exam papers, previous year NIBM Pune cutoff and others. No, the NIBM Pune cut-off 2024 will include only 35% weightage. For the remaining 75%, the admission parameters are academic performance with 25% weightage, WAT/OCT with 10% weightage, PI and extracurricular activities with 25% and 5% weightage, respectively. 

Does NIBM Pune consider a sectional cutoff?

No, NIBM Pune does not consider any sectional cutoff. The overall cutoff score is considered. In the case of CMAT 2023, the overall cutoff percentile for the general category was 85 percentile. Similarly, in the case of XAT, the overall percentile for the general category in 2023 was 75.

Can I get into NIBM Pune with 50 percentile?

It depends on your scores obtained in the entrance exam. Other than CAT, the scores obtained in CMAT, GMAT, XAT and GRE will be converted into CAT equivalent scores. If you score 50 percentile at this stage and you belong to the ST or PwD category, you are eligible to get admission to NIBM Pune. If you score less than that you will not qualify for admission to NIBM Pune.
