GITAM Vizag M.Tech. Computer Science and Engineering - Fees, Eligibility, Seats and Admission 2025

Overall: I am a proud GITAMit as the university has literally changed my life. I got placed in a top IT company with a package of Rs 8 LPA. The university has an updated curriculum and the course structure includes practical classes, industrial visits, internships, etc. The teachers are experienced and help students throughout their journey in college. Various events and extracurricular activities are held throughout the year.

Placement: Let me tell you about the awesome placement season for the 2022 passing-out batch. More than 1500 offers were made to the students of the School of Technology only. Top companies like Infosys, HCL, Capgemini, Hyundai, Amazon, Wipro and many others recruited students. The highest salary package received was Rs 46.50 LPA. Being a CS student has been beneficial for me during the placements.

Infrastructure: The institute has a digital library with more than 10,000 books. Sports facilities are available for outdoor and indoor games. Hostel facilities are provided for boys and girls.

Faculty: Sireesha R. was the HOD of my department. I was lucky enough to be her student. The student-faculty ratio at GITAM is 30: 1. Teachers have PhD degrees and are experts in their fields. The exams were really tough here.

Hostel: Students can choose between different hostels and rooms at Gitam University. I lived in a double-sharing room in Aditya Sadan. Students can choose between AC and Non AC rooms. The AC room charges are quite high than non-AC rooms. Similarly, double-sharing rooms are costlier than triple or quadruple-sharing rooms. Girl’s hostels are also available.
