Depending on the course chosen, different individuals may be eligible for diploma studies at Government Polytechnic for Women Bangalore. However, a few standard requirements for qualifying include:

Educational criteria: Candidates must have received a minimum of 45% overall (or 40% for SC/ST candidates) on their 10th class or equivalent examination.

Age: As of August 1st of the admissions year, candidates must be between the ages of 16 and 21.

Candidates must be citizens of India or have an Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) card.
