The Himachal Group of Institutions started under the auspices of Dr. Puran Chand Medical Charitable Trust in the year 1994 under the dynamic leadership of Dr. V K Gupta - Chairman of the Trust. In its constant endevour of reaching excellence, the College got a permanent recognition in the year 2000 & holds the distinction of being the first dental college in state of Himachal Pradesh. This college is duly recognized by Dental Council of India, New Delhi/Govt. of India. With blessings of the God, the Trust has embarked the journey of providing professional education and improve the Vision of the Dental society through: Himachal Institute of Dental Sciences,, Himachal Institute of Pharmacy, Himachal Institute of Nursing, Himachal Institute of Life Sciences, Himachal Institute Of Engineering And Technology, Paonta Sahib promoted by Dr. Puran Chand Medical trust.
