The eligibility criteria for the M.Phil. (Master of Philosophy) degree at the Institute for Excellence in Higher Education in India require candidates to have a minimum of 55% marks (or an equivalent grade) in a relevant master's degree from a recognized university. Additionally, applicants from the general category must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by UGC/CSIR or a similar examination accredited by the UGC. Candidates belonging to reserved categories (SC/ST/OBC/PWD) are eligible for a relaxation of 5% in the minimum qualifying marks.
