Students in their first and second years indulge in assignments that are generally completed in third and fourth years at other B.Tech colleges. IIT Mandi provides a congenial atmosphere with instructors and students mixing. During any discrepancy, candidates have easy access to faculty, Deans, and the Director. Faculty members participate in sports and other activities and eat in the mess with the students. Students can participate in sports such as cricket, football, tennis, and volleyball.
