Overall As a first year student, my typical day is mostly filled with a number of exciting and challenging activities. With a typical day starting around 8 AM, my activities for the day starts with hitting the gym, approximately for half an hour. The classes start typically around 9 AM, after breakfast, and continue till 12:30 PM. After a one hour gap to rejuvenate, have lunch, and chat with friends, the classes resume around 1:30 PM. After back to back interactive and exciting brainstorming sessions in the class with our esteemed faculties, we call it a day. After having delicious snacks and some fun time with friends, some prefer playing games like cricket, badminton, table tennis, pool, and others prefer going to their self-study. The rest, stay in the lounges to do group study, or to have meeting with their respective clubs or committees. Be it group study, or assignments, exam prep, or important duties of Committee and clubs. Our lives keep going the whole city sleeps. One of the special mentions would the the LBA/NVD program IMI Kolkata has. The program is one of the USPs of IMI Kolkata In local Business Accelerator (LBA) program) Each student is assigned to a company where they are going to give us tasks. There are 6 credits allotted to the program. New Venture Development (NVD) is a program where you will be working on an original idea which you'll have to think, basically like making your own startup. I learned how to do market research, pricing, segmentation, targeting, positioning, and so on.
