-Answered on May-17-2023Hi there, Lovely Professional University charges a reasonable amount of fee from the students as per the UGC guidelines. Also, LPU offers a lot of scholarships on the basis of several criteria. The fee varies from program to program. Since you have not mentioned any program about which you are seeking information, I will give you a brief overview of all the programs. Let me start with the B Tech program. The fee for B Tech programs is Rs 120000 per semester. For B Pharm and hons programs too the fee is Rs 120000 per semester. However, the fee for BPT, BCA and B Com programs is Rs 80000 per semester. For the BA program the fee is Rs 50000 per semester. For further information you may visit the website. The fee for the MBA program is Rs 190000 per semester. Let me remind you LPU offers several scholarships that you can avail.

-Answered on May-09-2023Dear,I am not aware about the IMI Kolkata,Being an Alumnus,I am much aware about LPU,LPU is conducting its placement drive for the batch 2022 and this year the Highest CTC stood at INR 3 CPA which was 1.5 times higher than the last year. The highest domestic salary stood at INR 62.72 LPA. A total of 8400 Job and Internship offers were made. Cognizant recruited the maximum number of students (1410+ Students) followed by Capgemini which recruited 770+ Students. A students of B.Tech CSE/IT was offered a package of INR 49.4 LPA by Paloalto. A total of 383 students have been placed at the packages of INR 10-64 LPA.

Among the top institutes offering MBA, LPU is a premier academic institution with world-class infrastructure and outstanding placement records. LPU has the 47th National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) Rankings 2022 among all government and private universities in India. LPUs School of Management is ranked in the top 34 institutions in India.
LPU offers MBA in different specializations like Financial Markets, Hospital & Health Care Management, Logistics And Supply Chain Management, Tourism And Hospitality Management, International Business. Finance, Retail Management, Operations Management, Information Technology, International Business, Human Resource, etc.
For admission to MBA at LPU, one should have at least a 55% score in graduation subject to qualifying LPUNEST or CAT or MAT or XAT or NMAT or CMAT. After qualifying for LPUNEST the applicant has to appear for an interview and qualify it.
In 2023, 96% of the MBA students of LPU have been placed with a maximum package of 29.29 lakh per annum and an average salary of 7 LPA.
The Mittal School of Business is accredited by ACBSP (USA). Students may avail an option to go for 4 weeks study tour to USA/ European countries or any other country as decided by the University subject to conditions.
Admissions for MBA 2023-25 have already begun at LPU. The important dates are mentioned there on the website.

Lovely Professional University established in 2005 is one of the premier institutes of education in India. It is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and comprises more than 20 schools offering diploma, undergraduate, post-graduate and, doctoral programmes in 200+ recognized disciplines engineering, management, pharmacy, social science, hotel management, all in one campus having an extra edge in curriculum and facilities with the best staff and faculty. The University has hostel accommodation for 28,000 students. LPU's residential Facilities are indeed exceptionally well organised and maintained. The hostel administration here is very cooperative and caring. When it comes to Home like Healthy stay LPUs residential Facilities are excellent in all terms. LPU residential facilities are considered one the largest in India. There are 17 multi storeyed Hostels including Apartments.
Residential facility at campus is the safest and secure as 24 X 7 X 365 security is available and CCTVs are installed at all prominent locations throughout the campus. LPU has zero tolerance to Ragging, Alcohol, smoking, drug and disciplinary misconduct.
LPU is totally a veg campus with zero tolerance for non-veg within the university premises.

Choice of food (North Indian food or South Indian food)
North Indian food The students have a choice of North Indian food in both Standard menu and Basic menu.
Regional (South Indian) food The students have a choice of Regional (South Indian) Food in Standard menu and Basic menu.

With CCTVs set us at every corner, there is 100% safety within the campus as the university is very concerned about all the students. You can also find security guards everywhere on the campus for your security. The hostels of LPU are most comfortable and damn strict.
Some of the facilities that are given in the hostels of LPU are Bed (Iron or Wooden Box), Almirah,Plastic Chair,Study Table,AC/ Cooler (As Applicable),Geyser,Attached Washroom,Mess Facility.
In the LPU, there are 17 multi-story hostels, including luxury apartments. Each hostel has its own entrance and exit, as well as a mess, a tuck shop, and dedicated wardens and maintenance staff. In addition to all the amenities in the LPU Hostels, there are a few rules and regulations for reasons of safety and security. One of the biggest residential services in India is LPU.

The faculty of LPU are experts in their field with much research under their hat. The mentoring and exposure given to students for their holistic development consider it to be an asset they are carrying from LPU along with their degrees for a lifetime.
Coming to infrastructure, the 1200 acre campus which is equipped with every machinery, equipment, and software required in all the programs is a wonder in itself, just, for example, more than 10 companies have established centres for excellence within the campus with their investment to keep an eye on the abundant talent!
The central library is one massive 6 story building with lacs of books and a network to produce any title anytime! and this is in addition to many other libraries in all the departments.
Industry plays an important part in shaping the careers of students at LPU, from consulting for curriculum to guest lectures, industry interface, internships, consulting projects, establishing centres, providing machinery and equipment, software, certifications and finally immersing the students from campus.
Good Placement: Every year more than 500+ companies including national and multinational companies visit LPU for placement. A few of them are Microsoft, Amazon, Adobe, etc. in which they are placed. Recently, an LPU student Hare Krishna of B Tech CSE got placed in Google with 64 LPA this year.
