September 20, 2025KIIT-KISS and UNESCO MGIEP Join Hands to Advance the SDG Goals - A collaboration agreement was signed today between UNESCO’s Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Education for Peace (MGIEP) and KIIT-KISS to advance the vision of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 4.7. The agreement was signed in New Delhi at a special programme in the presence of Dr. Achyuta Samanta, Founder of KIIT & KISS, and Prof. Obijiofor Aginam, Director of UNESCO MGIEP. This partnership aims to initiate youth-led group projects to address SDG challenges and develop impactful curricula in Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) and Media and Information Literacy. The institutions will collaborate on developing and rolling out credit-awarding courses in these areas, focusing on equipping young people with the skills necessary for building peaceful and sustainable societies.
