MIT is a group of Polytechnic, Engineering, Technology and Architecture institutions with developing innovative technologies and a group of thinking, practicing and creative technocrats equipped to solve the world's critical and complex problems. It has the presence in various states of India: Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh and New Delhi. Every process of MIT has been standardized which lead MIT to being ISO 9001: 2000 Institute. One of the technical courses of Engineering base level plays an important role to build up MIT's base i.e. MIT Polytechnic. All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) has accorded approval to the Marathwada Institute of Technology, Aurangabad to conduct the full time diploma courses so that MIT Polytechnic has been established in 1983. MIT Polytechnic is proud of more than Two thousand MITians (Alumni) who are serving the world through either service or Institutions. MIT Polytechnic has at present 800 student 43 competent and promising faculty members, 17 well equipped laboratories , Research and Development center and 10 Administrative and Technical staff. Because of very effective interactions with industrial sector and government Organizations, MIT is pioneer in establishing the triangular partnership among Institutions, industry and government organization. Each partner of this triangle is benefited by innovation solutions with technology.
Marathwada Institute of Technology, Polytechnic, Aurangabad has a very dynamic training and placement cell. MIT differ from its competitors in important ways like the focus, personal scale, group-learning environment, faculty excellence in both research and teaching, the high degree of corporate interface and involvement of alumni. All this flows from MIT, Polytechnic, Aurangabad guiding principles and values and this in turn shape the educational programmes and strategic decisions. The T&P Cell, an innovative and unique concept which has been set up with the objective of bringing industry and academia close to each other. This is a cell which bridges the gap between faculty, students and industry. In addition to organizing management development programmes, consultancy, research and in-company training programmes, industry visits, guest lectures, CEO forums, quizzes, actively involves students in various activities to develop personal and professional skills.
