NIFT Bangalore Cutoff Ranks 2026: Expected Cutoff with Previous Years' Trends

NIFT Bangalore cutoff ranks 2026 will vary depending on the prospective applicant’s category and preferred course. The National Testing Agency (NTA) will release the expected NIFT Bangalore cutoff ranks 2026 by opening and closing Category Merit Ranks (CMRs) after the NIFT entrance exam 2026 results, which will be released most likely in the last week of April 2026.

Based on the previous year's trends, NIFT Bangalore cutoff ranks 2026 can be expected to range from 130 to 980. The cutoff will be made available across multiple categories, including Open, SC, OBC-NC, EWS, and ST, and will be provided separately for each of the 18 NIFT 2026 participating colleges.

According to the NIFT 2026 exam-takers, "The closing rank for B.Des Fashion Communication at Bangalore can be expected to remain under 150. It will be lower compared to the B.Des cutoff in 2025 (135 for General) owing to the rising demand for UI/UX and digital branding roles within the fashion industry. The ranks for Fashion Design will fall between 230 and 330, and the closing ranks for Knitwear Design or Textile Design will range from 800 to 900."
