The institute's Means-cum-Merit Financial Assistance plan allows students from low-income families to receive reduced tuition at all NIFT campuses in order to maximize their potential. NIFT Patna Application Process 2025
NIFT Patna admission includes GDPI (Group Discussion and Personal Interview) for admission to master's degree programs. The final result will be weighted at 20% for the Situation Test, 50% for the CAT, and 30% for the GAT for admission to B.Des. Candidates will be shortlisted for NIFT counselling and seat allocation using the final merit list.
Candidates for undergraduate and certificate programs must have completed 10+2.
A Bachelor's degree in a related discipline is the minimum qualification for a postgraduate course.
Candidates for the B.Des. program must be at least 23 years old. The PG course has no age restrictions.
For the B.Des. program, candidates from SC/ST/PWD are offered a 5% age relaxation.
The NIFT Patna entrance exam is used to determine admission to all courses.
Candidates must pass a written test that includes the Creative Ability Test (CAT) and the General Ability Test (GAT).
