Workshop on Indian Knowledge System (IKS) - As part of our commitment to holistic education and cultural integration, Netaji Subhas University organised a workshop on the Indian Knowledge System (IKS) aimed at exploring historical and cultural contexts. The workshop included expert lectures by eminent scholars on ancient Indian texts and their relevance in the modern world, workshops on harmonising ancient Indian wisdom for modern academia, and interactive exhibitions showcasing indigenous knowledge in agriculture, astronomy, health, and traditional technologies. This initiative reflects the vision of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, which emphasises integrating IKS into mainstream education to nurture culturally rooted and globally competent individuals.
