Industry Exposure Visit – The Sonnet, Jamshedpur - The second-semester students of the Department of Hotel Management had an enriching and insightful visit to The Sonnet in Jamshedpur as part of their academic curriculum. This industry visit provided students with firsthand experience of hospitality operations within a hotel. They explored various departments, including Front Office, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage Services, and Culinary Operations. This hands-on experience allowed our aspiring professionals to see the practical applications of the hotel management principles they had studied in class. We extend our heartfelt thanks to the team at The Sonnet, Jamshedpur, for their warm hospitality and for sharing valuable industry knowledge with our students. Tech Utsav 3.0 - A Celebration of Innovation and Creativity - The School of IT organized Tech Utsav 3.0, a grand celebration of innovation, creativity, and technical skills. Nearly 300 students enthusiastically participated in the event, showcasing their talents across 14 different competitions, including both solo and group events. Participants competed with great enthusiasm in various categories, demonstrating their creativity, technical expertise, and teamwork. To ensure fair and expert judgment, experienced judges were appointed for each event. Winners were recognized based on their performance, creativity, and skills, and were awarded cash prizes, medals, and certificates. The competitions included coding competitions, debugging contests, digital poster making, hand-drawn posters, website design, UI/UX design, LAN gaming (BGMI/Free Fire), debate, extempore speaking, PowerPoint presentations, B-fiesta, dance, and a tech quiz.
Rabindranath Jayanti Celebration - The Department of English celebrated the 164th birthday anniversary of Nobel Laureate Rabindranath Tagore. The event began with the lighting of a lamp, followed by an inaugural presentation highlighting Tagore’s contributions to English literature. The program included cultural performances and insightful speeches by distinguished guests. Students performed songs and recited poetry written by Tagore. To honor Rabindranath Tagore, they also showcased classical and semi-classical dance performances and portrayed characters from his notable works.

Lamp-Lighting and Oath-Taking Ceremony 2025 - The Lamp-Lighting and Oath-Taking ceremony took place in the auditorium of the Netaji Subhas Institute of Nursing for the students of the B.Sc. Nursing, GNM, and ANM 2024 batches. The Chief Guest for the event was Mrs. Y. Sailja, the Executive Officer of the Occupational Health Centre at TATA Motors, while the Guest of Honor was Mrs. Laxmi Kumari, the Principal of the School of Nursing at MGM. Floral tribute was paid to Florence Nightingale, known as the founder of Modern Nursing. During the ceremony, the guests shared insights and motivated the students about the significant role they will play in the healthcare industry.
