Publications - PKG Group has its own publication team that specializes in publishing error free and good grammar publications on a weekly basis. Most of the news articles appearing in the newspapers and other means of PR are done in the local language as that is the public preference.
There are huge opportunities for students to publish their own columns, research papers and articles where they are required to do appropriate research and come up with a new idea that can be substantiated in the real world and has use cases that are more efficient than the existing ones.
The research papers have to include the insights and analysis done by the faculty as it is a mandatory requirement for publication which showcases the multiple layers of filtration happening in the process.
These papers are edited and proofread multiple times by the editorial board before the final submission.
Faculty - PKG Group has an extremely diverse faculty team belonging to more than 25 states of India with various cultural and lingual backgrounds. This diversity helps immensely as the lessons and concepts taught are explained from various perspectives that makes the subjects more interesting.

Faculty Development Programs (FDP): This program includes expert lectures from renowned industry professionals and researchers providing all the recent development updates and teaching the various methodologies and procedures to keep the faculty team up to date.
Developing curriculum and pedagogy: This activity says all by its name, it basically demands teachers to provide constructive feedback from their teaching experience and so on and come up with required changes to the curriculum that will improve the existing systems resulting in higher productivity.
Professional Learning Committees: These committees are organized internally where teachers and professors take initiative to develop better procedures for all departments including the admission cell and any other area which is not in a good shape.

Bachelor of Education: B. Ed is the most popular course among teacher communities as it is totally designed for those who have the passion to teach, mentor and nourish students, teaching is the most noble profession and without it there would no industry.
This is a simple 3-year program that teaches participants the techniques, methodologies and procedures involved in primary and secondary school teaching activity. It teaches the basics of Management, observation and decision making so that the candidates understand the students and treat them in a balanced manner. Diploma: Diploma in Engineering is a 3-year course that consists of all the engineering subjects and lasts one year less than the engineering course. It consists of mostly laboratory subjects and exams to ensure hands-on practice and learning is done so that students do not face any challenges in future. B.B.A: Bachelor in Business Administration is a popular course that teaches various aspects of doing business and building a brand from scratch. It is a 3-year course that offers plenty of majors to opt for which includes Accounting, Economics, Financial Services, Human Resources Management, Management, Marketing and Entrepreneurship.
Majority of the students who get into BBA, opt entrepreneurship as their majors which teaches all the challenges involved in building a product, business and market study and pitfalls of starting or managing a business. It is not necessary that one has to start a business after doing BBA as students also have the option to pursue further education, that is, Master in business administration and apply for high profile management or business operations jobs.
M.B.A: Master in business administration is a postgraduate course with 2 years of duration that teaches advanced business strategy, operations techniques and management practices to operate the business with maximum profit. It is available in three specializations, Marketing, Finance and Human resource.
Students who study MBA get a profound understanding of business dynamics and are in a better position to start their own venture or get a high-level management job instead of working their way to the management positions.
ITI: These are crash courses that focus on the technical ability of the participant and aim at creating bulk field workers, warehouse or inventory workers etc. Considering the humongous demand for skilled workers in the factories and industrial areas, these ITI courses have been designed that complete the overall theory and practical knowledge that is missing in the low-level workers of field engineers.

As the college holds the right to decide the admission criteria and the entrance test is also conducted by the PKG group of institutions it is not possible to understand the cutoff trands or any specific ranking system that could make the procedure clear.
The curriculum is in line with the guidelines received from the AICTE (All India Council of Technical Education) and other relevant academic councils of India however, some courses have a little out of the box activities and syllabus subjects for the betterment of students and overall personality development.

PKG Group of institutions offer a lot of scholarship schemes and fee concessions for the needful. Tuition Fee exemption is granted for the entire duration of the course for those whose annual income of family is less than 2.5 Lakhs of their parents and he/she has scored atleast 50% marks in PCM and all other subjects in the 12th standard examinations.
Another scheme is available for the physically challenged students and are not able to pay the fee.
Scholarship is available for women candidate’s toe courage education for girls, empowering women initiative.
Scholarship is also available to the students belonging to the economically weaker groups based on the criteria set by the board and the student category.
Special Cash Awards are given to students who have been shortlisted as the meritorious students as per the University’s merit list.
PKG Group also offers a Free Book Bank Facility to Students securing more than 75% marks in the University Examination. This facility will continue during course duration provided student maintains the merit position in coming University Exams.

Laboratories: Engineering and Diploma courses have a lot of lab exams and students will not get the degree certificates if they do not pass in these. There are internal Lab exams and external Lab exams, however, both of them are conduction in the campus but the invigilator and interviewer for Viva round will be from a different institution,
To ensure students get enough time and practice, understand the experimentation procedures and methodologies, PKG Group has built many laboratories in the campus. These labs facilitate project work, assignment, experiments, research and development.
It is a mandatory requirement for Final year students to do a project of their own in the last semester of the year and they utilize these laboratories to the fullest along with the Lab faculty for any clarification and assistance. Some of the most commonly used labs are the following.
Cafeteria: PKG group of institutions has built a neat and tidy canteen area for students to get breakfast and lunch inside the college. The canteen is under strict inspection from the college officials and routine checks are done to ensure food served is up to the mark and hygienic.
Juices, snacks and other beverages are also offered in the canteen as part of refreshment and students gather around the canteen area in their break times or post college hours to do casual talk.
Sports: PKG group of institutions offers a plethora of sports and physical training activities that encourages students to stay fit and healthy and partake in the sports tournaments like the biggest sports meet done annually, organized by RNCET’s, titled Udgosh RNCET sports.
This meet consists of a lot of sports tournaments and challenges including both indoor and outdoor games where participants will be awarded and given a certificate of participation.
Students who win the competitions have the opportunity to play for inter-college tournaments and go to national level.
Transportation: College provides transportation facilities to students living within the city limits and takes complete responsibility for their travel journey in the college buses.
Students need to create a bus pass and the in charge of the bus will check the College ID card and the bus pass to ensure everyone’s safety. Buses also offer AC facilities as per the student needs.
Library: A huge collection of books and journals are available in the library and students can avail them from morning till night time until the library is closed.
It is mandatory for students to have a library card and details saved in the record in order to borrow books out of the library or to use any other library offered service.

Udgosh RNCET sports event was organized in the PKG campus to encourage sports participation among students and many tournaments were conducted in the sports fest. Over the course of this sports meet, students are able to engage in various team sports such as cricket, football, khokho, volleyball and more. Students can even participate in individual sports such as long jump, hurdle races and running events too. Trophies and medals are also awarded to winners, along with certificates of participation. Through these sports events, students are able to experience a well-rounded time in college, and can even advance to higher levels, for those who wish to delve deeper into their respective sports events.
PKG Group of Institutions also hosts a top-notch annual day event, wherein students get to showcase their talents through the various cultural events that take place. Over the course of this event, students get to interact with one another, explore their passions and engage in activities that go outside of hectic academic schedules.
