Over the past three graduating batches, AIM has upheld an outstanding record of providing employment to nearly 100% of students who have indicated interest in obtaining final placement. Most of AIM graduates show an interest in remaining in Goa. During the past several years, the economic conditions in the state have declined as businesses have felt the impact of the international economic downturn and statewide setbacks such as the stoppage of mining and other environmental issues. Despite these negative employment conditions, through its concerted efforts and industry contacts, AIM has consistently provided its graduates with job opportunities in Goa. As students become aware of the career opportunities in neighbouring states, AIM graduates are beginning to make an impact outside of Goa. AIM offers free placement services to all its students. In addition to job notices, AIM graduates are offered soft skills courses in business presentations, resume preparation, etc. and are encouraged to participate in mock interviews. Internships provide both the company and the student a perfect 'test' environment that allows both parties the chance to realise the benefits of long-term association. Some past students were offered full time employment at the completion of their internships and the prospect to join the company upon graduation.
