Bhim Rao Ambedkar College Placements

The annual report for 2021 states that more than 6 recruiters took part in the placement process and placed more than 35 students in a variety of job profiles. The highest package available for placements in 2021 was Rs 5 LPA. British Telecommunications, S&P Global, NIIT, FIS Global, ICICI Bank, and other companies were among the top employers at Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar College in 2021.

The placement drive of well-known companies on our campus was successfully coordinated by the placement committee. For the benefit of the students, it also conducted presentations on "Writing Profession" CVs and "How to Prepare for GD and Interviews" (Convener : Prof. Richa Chowdhary). The Placement Committee shall have the following Terms of Reference (ToRs): 

i. To facilitate the placement and training activities of the University and the respective Schools. ii. To coordinate & advise Students Placement Committee in order to fulfill their placement & training related goals. 

iii. To facilitate and improve the relationship of the University and Schools with Corporate, Government, NGOs and other recruiting organizations. 

iv. To empanel the University and respective Schools with leading recruiters both public & private Organizations.

v. To facilitate current batch students interaction with the outside world including, Alumni, advocacy & other Govt. & Public organization. 

vi. To organize activities related to training & research in order to improve students employability. 

vii. To organize workshops activities, panel discussion, Guest Lecture on soft skills and social skills. 

viii. To nominate one Student Coordinator per programme to work with Training and Placement Cell closely with T&P Cell and help in collecting the data of Placement of the School/Programme with T&P Cell. 

ix. Any other responsibilities and activities assigned from time to time as approved by competent authority.

Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar College (BRAC) UG First Allocation List has been released on August 01, 2023. The BRAC UG Cutoff 2023 will be out soon. The Bhim Rao Ambedkar College Delhi CUET UG 2023 result was released on July 15, 2023. The National Testing Agency has not released all India-based CUET UG 2023 cutoff ranks and marks. Delhi University will release the Bhim Rao Ambedkar College merit list and seat allotment list on the basis of the CUET UG 2023 scorecard. The merit list will be prepared on the basis of the subject-wise normalized CUET scores.

Whether you can take admission to the Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) course at the Bhim Rao Ambedkar College (BRAC), New Delhi depends on whether you clear the BCom eligibility criteria for DU as well as the DU BCom cutoff.

Please note that applications for admission to the BCom course at BRAC, Delhi can be made through the admissions portal of the University of Delhi (DU).

DU BCom Eligibility Criteria

  • Candidate must have cleared Class 12th (Standard XII / Intermediate / HSC) in any stream from a recognized board.

  • Candidate must have received the minimum marks specified by DU in the qualifying examination.

BRAC BCom Cut Off 2019

The cutoff for 2019 admissions to the BCom course at DU was as follows:

  • General - 94%

  • OBC - 87%

  • SC - 82%

  • ST - 73%

  • PwD - 68%
