CAET aims at providing organizations with engineers who are an appropriate fit for the organization's needs. The college always endeavor to build such capabilities among the students in a systematic manner. The training and placement division lead by a senior and experienced person has a focused approach to prepare students right from the second year of joining the college. The preparation process addresses such areas as building the relationship and projecting a personality that is appropriate to a young engineering graduate taking an assignment in an organization.
The college address two different aspects of students capability. Experienced teaching staff takes care of the technological abilities to be able to recall knowledge gained during academics for application at workplace and secondly the soft skills required which now a day's plays an important role in the industry. We also have facilities within college premises for conducting campus interviews and these include those for presentation, conducting aptitude tests, group discussions and interviews.
Training and Placement division aims at specifically developing these abilities through planned training for the students. The institute looks forward to conducting such activities with the help of selected internal and external faculties. This training will include personality development, communication skills, and extensive exercises to inculcate analytical abilities empowering students to interpret data faster.
The college has seen a lot of progress in terms of more number of students being absorbed by various prestigious companies over the years, as also more and more esteemed companies have approached us for students time and again.
The Placement Cell performs liaison work between the Institute and organizations and serves as an interface to establish the best student organization fit by arranging campus interviews. It acts as a nodal point for all placement-related activities and assists students in developing an effective job search strategy by providing relevant information and resources. The Placement Committee facilitates prospective employers by organizing institute-industry interactions regularly, providing complete support for arranging placement activities on the campus and recommending students to them for internship and placement. It organizes pre-placement training by way of group discussions, personal interviews and workshops on personality enrichment and communication skills in an attempt to equip students with the necessary skills required to meet the challenges of recruitment.

The students have to undergo practical/field training in the summer break of II & III years of their studies. The training is arranged and monitored by the in-charges of respective disciplines. However in Agricultural Engineering discipline in addition to this practical training, the experiential learning is intended to build practical skills and entrepreneurship among the graduates with the aim to deal with work situations and for better employability and self-employment. It will involve setting up of model plans for food processing and value addition for product diversification, setting up of workshops for manufacturing, operation, and maintenance of farm machinery and equipment, maintenance and custom hiring of farm machinery and equipment.
