Chandigarh College of Engineering and Technology Placements 2018 have been successful so far. Various companies have recruited students from the institute and Infosys emerged as the top recruiter this season with a total of 59 offers rolled out at CCET.
The institute has also recorded a rise in the average package as compared to last year. In 2018, the average salary recorded at CCET is Rs. 4.7 LPA, however, in 2017 it was Rs. 4.4 LPA. Sources from the institute said that a rise of Rs. 30,000 in the average package is a big motivation for the students to perform better.

The highest package rolled out at the institute so far has dropped as compared to placements 2017. Last year, CCET recorded highest package of Rs. 8.4 LPA. An official from the institute sais that though the highest packed has dropped this year, it does not mean that CCET is expecting a prop in placements.

According to CCET placement reports 2018, 25 of the students in the B.Tech Computer Science and Engineering programme were offered 2 offers each or more. The batch of Electronics and Communication Engineering is also moving towards 100% placement as the institute has not yet wrapped up the placements 2018.
