Training & Placement department works as a bridge between the industries and the pursuing students of the academia. The Department assists in all-round technical and professional development of the students and provides gateways to various reputed organizations across the country and the state. The leading companies from all sectors are invited by the Placement Department in the campus, where the eligible students are facilitated to go through the entire selection process. The entire process is governed by the student's ability and performance, as well as the requirements and norms of the Industry. The cell continuously coordinates with the various industries and organizations for employment opportunities of the students. It liaises with the corporate sectors and helps in developing the industry-academic inter-relationship.
The Department dedicatedly works for the betterment of the students round the year by organizing various industrial lectures, workshops by eminent personalities, corporate leaders and need specific training. It acts as a nourishing catalyst for the students aspiring to become future leaders and dedicated to contribute effectively to the society in a big way. Keeping in view the requirements of the industry, the Cell also takes initiative to arrange regular inter-active workshops, seminars and short-term courses with active participation of academia and industry.
The Department organizes various orientation programmes, grooming sessions, mock interviews for students. Besides, the Cell also organizes various summer internship programmes for students to provide them with hands-on experience and introducing them to match the professional environment.
It also takes initiative to develop the soft skills (Aptitude, HR, GD, PI etc) within students to make them feel comfortable during interviews and thus make them employable. The Cell ensures that Career Development Programmes are also conducted on a regular basis for value addition in the lives of our students. It also organizes industry-oriented special summer / winter courses in collaboration with reputed corporate industries.
Academic success is the key to laying the foundation for the students and therefore the College emphasizes on quality academic delivery in their stride towards excellence. The College has also significantly reinforced their outreach initiatives by facilitating faculty development programmes, knowledge exchange sessions, and procuring funded projects from Government to foster synergy between academia, business, industry and the community.

Soft Skills Training
Soft Skills is a term often associated with a person's "EQ" (Emotional Intelligence Quotient), the cluster of personality traits, social graces, communication, language, personal habits, interpersonal skills, managing people, leadership, etc. that characterize relationships with other people. Soft skills contrast to hard skills, which are generally easily quantifiable and measurable.
In this cosmopolitan world we are in a mad race to achieve professional accomplishments. Industries are flourishing and they are doing aggressive business with the greater world. The students happen to be a part of this mad race and we help prepare them to combat with all the challenges in their life. To meet the requirements of this globalised world every student should have a strong command in English and should be adept in Soft Skills along with hard skill. Attitude and positive energy is what the industry needs which is impossible without proper soft skills training.
In the first year our focus is to make them realize the significance of English Language in the global world. They learn LSRW skills which is imperative in the curriculum. From second year onwards they learn the process of writing Résumés, CV and Job Application, email writing, Group Discussion and Presentation Skills. Through Mock Presentations every student overcome their stage fright and peer pressure, and develop their personality traits to meet the demands of professional communication. From third year onwards students undergo specific verbal ability and soft skills training beyond their curriculum. In house trained faculty members and external resource persons conduct the training in a continuous process. Weekly classes integrated with the general routine and crash courses are done focusing on the need of the students. Mock tests are taken on general aptitude, mock interview and mock GD sessions are also organized with an objective to train them for campus drive. In the fourth year also we conduct specific training on General Aptitude which encompasses both verbal and quantitative aptitude. Students undergo mock tests on specific sets of questions followed by detailed analysis. Professionals are hired for conducting company specific Mock GD & PI sessions keeping in mind the industry requirement of the students. We set up a professional ambience to give them a feel of the professional world. Besides General Aptitude we also organize company specific technical training to strengthen their technical potential. Specialized trainers are deployed both in house and external for addressing the weak areas of the students.
In the fourth year we organize special workshops to bridge the gap between industry and academics. Different company personnel delivers lecture on the necessity of Communication and Soft Skill in the industry and help them envisage true picture of the corporate work environment. Some notable companies like Pinnacle Honda, Shapoorji Pallonji Group, ITC Infotech, Tech Mahindra, TCS, Times of India, HDFC Bank Ltd.etc, are invited in our college in different programmes – Induction Programme (for first year students), Next Gen Employability Conclave, Corporate Pulse, Seminars, Workshops etc.Here students get to visualize the true picture of the corporate life and get motivated to accept the challenge of life.
Soft skill is quintessential and to meet the socio-economic transformations of the world, students need to have this skill along with academic proficiencies to survive in the industry. The students are the future generation, their future is in our hand and it is always the unconditional effort to illumine these budding technocrats for a brighter world ahead.
During campus placements, recruiters test for an array of skill sets in their potential employees. In addition to have a commendable knowledge base in their core subjects.Therefore, the program is planned in such a manner to provide the skills to master the technical fundamentals and solving the interview questions in a given time frame.
The istitute's very own faculty members, dedicatedly involved in the cause to impart our students with every possible solution. Such training are part of the curriculum from 3rd year itself to make students technically equipped with the requisite subject knowledge with a view to crack campus interviews.
