Keeping in view the changing demands of the fashion industry, Istituto Marangoni has framed a new curriculum. The new curriculum aims to give the students a sound understanding and a rich repertoire of experience that will probably inculcate a capability and a thirst for lifelong learning and will place them on a solid platform for their careers in today's challenging scenario of change.
A considerable part of the engagement programme relies on students' exposure to the industry environment as a part of the course curriculum which is given under the guidance of academia as well as industry experts. The engagement programme, in other words, is a learning process under which the students are provided exposure to a real-life working environment as a part of an academic curriculum that in turn helps them to enhance and develop personal, academic and professional competencies along with a deeper understanding of the inculcated values and ethics that a good professional needs.

Some companies give pre-placement offers to the students of the institute before the campus placements begin. This may be dependent on the previous training, internship, or projects done by the student in that company. To offer job opportunities to all the students, the institute distributes Industry Mentor Feedback Form. The students who have got pre-placement offers need to fill them, and they do not participate in on-campus placements. It is done so that other students can also participate and get placed.
