Founder Chairman, Thiru.E.S.Kathir in his aim to minimize the risk of unemployment to his students, has been imparting world class education rendering them more industry compatible. In this context the role of the Placement Cell is in the capacity of an aide conducting seminars and mock GD sessions which hones the skills of the students and has made our students valuable in the job market. MNC’s from India and abroad conducted placement drives at Kathir College of Engineering. Till date on campus and off campus drives have engaged more than 50 companies. Among them were the IT giants like Infosys, Dell, HCL, Payoda, Hexaware, Oracle, Sutherland, KALS Information System, CSS Corp, CMC TaTa and core companies like TaTa Communication, BGR energy, Numeric Power & Micro Tek etc. The total strength of 266 students got placed and received their offer letter from their core companies thus achieving a remarkable 100% in the area of placement. Students from various engineering colleges around Erode, Tirupur and Coimbatore also participated and got placed.

In order to materialize the Vision of the Chairman, Thiru ES Kathir, achieving 100% placement in reputed companies has been the primary objective of the Placement Cell. To fulfill this objective, the Placement Cell joins hands with the Department of Soft Skills Development and conducts State-of-the-art Training in Communication Skills, Aptitude, Logical Reasoning, Verbal Reasoning, Mock Interviews & Group Discussions from the day one they enter the college
