SDM College of Engineering and Technology believes in the concept of placement performer being one of the vital indicators of the overall success of any institution. This institution works for the betterment of the students and hones their skills. This particular initiative helps the students to get market ready and be placed in some of the biggest companies. SDMCET caters to the industrial and instructional needs of the students through the state of the art facilities and modern technologies. The institute executes a comprehensive plan in such a manner, students get initiated towards a successful placement process by their 4th semester. 
In collaboration with the various departments, the students are made to undergo training in different modules that are relevant to training and placement and are ingrained with adequate skills such as aptitude, communication.
