The training and placement cell at Vidya Jyothi Institute of Technology Hyderabad was established with the sole purpose of creating capable and confident professionals. Students in the second year are given a common placement oriented training which focus on the basics of their domain, logical reasoning, verbal ability and C coding. After the training received in their second year, once the students reach the third year, they are given a choice to enroll for placements if they want to pursue it. They need to register with the placement cell following which they are issued a Placement ID card with a unique placement number. Each year, about 70% of the students enroll for the same. From the end of the second semester of the Second year till the first semester of the fourth year each student is provided with 120 hours of verbal, 120 hours of quant and problem solving, and about 200 hours of core coding training. Each aspirant gets about 400 hours of training that are designed to make them industry ready. The Institute has also partnered with supporting organisations like – Talentio, Lean technocrats, cantilever Labs, Placement Season, and Hindu step- which provide training support to the students.
