Ramnagar College was established in 1972. It is a general degree college, located in Depal, West Bengal, India. The college is affiliated to Vidyasagar University and recognised by the UGC (University Grant Commission). It provides 16 hons. courses consisting of Bachelor of Arts (Hons.) programmes in eight subjects and Bachelor of Science (Hons.) in seven subjects and Bachelor of Commerce (Hons.) in one subject. It also offers Bachelor of Vocational (B.Voc) programmes in two different specialisations namely Hospital and Tourism Management and Fishery and Farm Management. 

The mission of the college is to provide scholars with required technical and vocational teaching/training including general education to make them fit to get employment or self-employment. Ramnagar College admissions are based on the overall merit of the students.
