Roorkee Institute of Technology, established under the aegis of the Himalayan Charitable Trust, is affiliated to Uttarakhand Technical University and is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). On May 5, 2023, the Department of Electrical Engineering at RIT Roorkee hosted a workshop on "Solar PV Power Generation", covering topics such as common solar applications, fundamentals of electricity, testing circuits with multimeters, and wiring PV circuits, etc. The session also gave students the chance to investigate the electrical and physical properties of PV equipment and discover how to combine solar panels, charge controllers, and batteries. The workshop attracted a sizable audience and was open to all Electrical Engineering students. Every participant understood and successfully connected a modest solar system. Mr Ashok Kumar, Mrs Shikha Saini, and Dr Ajay Kumar Maurya (HOD EE) were present at the session.

COMEDK UGET 2026 Examination: The Consortium of Medical, Engineering, and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMEDK) has announced the date for the COMEDK UGET 2026 examination, providing much-needed relief to engineering students across the country. This examination is scheduled to take place on May 9, 2026, and is one of the most crucial pathways for engineering students to gain entry into the country’s premier engineering colleges across the state of Karnataka. COMEDK will conduct the examination online in a computer-based mode. WBJEE Application Form 2026: The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) is expected to release the application form for WBJEE 2026 in either the third or fourth week of January 2026. Though no official notice has yet been released by the board, based on the previous years' trends, it is expected that the process of registration for WBJEE 2026 could start anywhere between January 16 to January 26 in 2026.
