RVCE COMEDK Round 2 Allotment 2026 Out: Check BTech Cutoff and Fee Deadline

COMEDK has declared the Round 2 seat allotment result for RVCE on August 7, 2026, at 4 PM. This round covers only Kalyana Karnataka Region (KKR) category candidates; General Merit candidates completed their allotment in Round 1 and do not get a Round 2. Candidates allotted a seat must confirm Accept and Freeze and pay the course fee by 4 PM, August 10, 2026, then report at RVCE with original documents by 12 Noon, August 11, 2026, to hold the seat.

Who Can Check the RVCE COMEDK Round 2 Result?

Only Kalyana Karnataka Region (KKR) category candidates can check the Round 2 result at RVCE. General Merit candidates finished their admission process in Round 1 and have no allotment activity in Round 2.

KKR, earlier called Hyderabad Karnataka Region (HKR), is a reserved seat category under Article 371J. Candidates claiming a KKR seat need a 371J region certificate and a Karnataka domicile certificate uploaded at the time of registration. COMEDK has not yet released the Round 3 counselling schedule for COMEDK UGET 2026 as of this update. General Merit candidates should watch comedk.org for that announcement.

How to Check RVCE COMEDK Round 2 Allotment Result?

You can check your RVCE Round 2 result by logging into your COMEDK counselling account with your application number and password.

1. Go to comedk.org and click Login, then Engineering Login.
2. Enter your application number and password to sign in.
3. Open the Seat Allotment or Round 2 Allotment tab on your dashboard.
4. Check the allotted college, branch, and category shown on the result.
5. Download the allotment letter for reporting and fee payment.

RVCE has 11 KKR seats vacant across 8 branches for Round 2 2026, out of 40 total KKR seats offered through COMEDK. Five branches, Aerospace Engineering, Biotechnology, Civil Engineering, Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering, and Industrial Engineering & Management, have zero seats left.

RVCE Round 1 2026 GM closing rank ranged from 228 in Computer Science & Engineering to 6,209 in Civil Engineering. The KKR closing rank ranged from 1,158 to 27,279 across the same branches.

What Is the RVCE COMEDK Fee and How Do I Pay It?

The total course fee for a Round 2 seat at RVCE is INR 3,22,000, covering INR 3,02,000 tuition and INR 20,000 other charges. This fee applies equally to GM and KKR candidates across all 13 branches (Source: COMEDK Engineering Seat Availability and Fee Structure, notified July 14, 2026, comedk.org).

1. Log in to your COMEDK account and open the Decision tab.
2. Choose Accept and Freeze for your Round 2 seat.
3. Pay the fee online through the listed banks or payment modes.
4. Save the payment receipt and download the allotment letter.
5. Carry both, with your original documents, when you report to RVCE.

Missing the RVCE Round 2 Deadline

Candidates who entered Round 2 with an Accept and Upgrade status from Round 1 and take no action are automatically moved to Accept and Freeze on their Round 2 seat, with any balance fee payable at the college. Candidates who had Reject and Upgrade status and take no action are treated as Reject and Withdraw and dropped from the process (Source: COMEDK Counselling Process Document 2026).

Accept and Freeze candidates who do not report to RVCE by 12 Noon, August 11, 2026, risk losing the allotted seat. Cancelling a seat within the Round 2 cancellation window, open till 3 PM, August 11, refunds the total fee paid, apart from the convenience charge.

RVCE COMEDK Round 2 allotment for Kalyana Karnataka Region candidates was declared on August 7, 2026. The fee payment window for R V College of Engineering runs till August 10, and reporting closes on August 11.

RVCE Vs DSCE VS BNMIT: COMEDK Cutoff 

RVCE core Computer Science and Engineering rank sits above MSRIT and DSCE among Bangalore's well-known COMEDK colleges. RV College of Engineering closed CSE General Merit at rank 228 in Round 1 2026, tighter than MSRIT. Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering and B N M Institute of Technology both closed wider, at 3,526 and 14,967.

All four colleges are in Bengaluru and run Round 2 on the same KKR-only basis, so choosing between them in Round 2 means comparing whatever KKR seats each college has left, not fresh General Merit ranks.
