SASTRA University placement statistics for 2024 are given in the table below:

SASTRA University placement for 2023 is yet to be released. As per 2022 statistics, a total of 1976 students participated in placements out of which 1705 students got placed. Some of the top companies that visited campus for placement included Morgan Stanley, Deloitte, Infosys, Accenture, Wipro, Capgemini, etc. Out of the total,1,548 students got placed from BTech, 50 students were from MTech, and 107 students were from BA LLB/ BCom LLB/ BBA LLB courses. The median package offered for the BTech course was Rs 7.50 LPA. Meanwhile, the median package offered for MTech and BA LLB/ BCom LLB/ BBA LLB courses were Rs 5.50 LPA and Rs 4.50 LPA respectively. 

• BTech students saw a significant jump in the median salary from Rs 6 LPA in 2021 to Rs 7.50 LPA in 2022 (25% increase). 
• MTech placements also improved with a median package of Rs 5.50 LPA compared to Rs 4 LPA (37.5% increase).
• Placement rates for BTech and MTech remained consistent with over 85% of students placed in both years. 
• There was a slight decrease in placements for law programs (BA LLB/BCom LLB/BBA LLB) but the median package held steady.

As per SASTRA University placement statistics 2022, out of a total of 1751 students from BTech, 1548 students got placed. The median package offered for the BTech course was Rs 7.50 LPA in 2022. Also, out of a total of 84 students from MTech, 50 students were placed. The median package offered for the MTech course was Rs 5.50 LPA in 2022. For BA LLB/ BCom LLB/ BBA LLB, 107 out of 132 students were placed at a median package of Rs 4.50 LPA.
