Satya College of Engineering & Technology (SCET) was established in 2008 providing B.Tech and M.Tech courses in various streams of engineering. The institute aims to produce skilled engineers and professionals who can pave way for the development of the country. The institute has well-qualified pool of permanent as well as visiting faculties who have laid out a comprehensive curriculum with innovative teaching pedagogy to encourage creativity and versatility in the students. Besides, the institute has an advantage in form of periodic revision of curriculum, focus on fundamentals and concepts building, communication skills and student centric learning environment. Satya college was constituted with a vision "to develop the Institute into a national Institute of excellence consistent with global practices in the field of engineering, technology and management education to help the new generation of talented students to recognize their potential through experiential learning and provide them with opportunities to think strategically and creatively". There are various Faculty Exchange Programmes where faculties are sent to other colleges to learn about their educational system providing a chance to enhance their teaching style. SCET’s environment caters to the growing needs of today’s changing educational challenges. The college is completely technology-driven & aims at providing a campus equipped with all the modern facilities. SCET provides a conducive atmosphere for the intellectual growth of students with contemporary facilities.
The SCET college lays special emphasis on industrial training as an integral part of the curriculum. The students are given industrial exposure through training in the college workshops and in factories. The training and placement cell of the college handles campus placement of the engineering and MBA students. Arrangements for pre-placement talks, written tests, interviews and group discussions are made as per the requirement of the visiting companies.
