Berhampore Girls' College Scholarships 2024 - Details, Eligibility, Amount

To reward excellence and promote healthy academic competition, various prizes and medals are awarded to students. It is a mark of the status the college enjoys within the traditional cultural life of Berhampore, that many of these prizes are gifted by our former Principal Smt. Amiya Rao, our ex- colleagues and educationists of the city on January 24th for both academic and extra curricular activities.
Medals are presented for the following awards :

• The Amiya Rao Medal is presented to the college student who stands First in the college securing art class in (H) in the three years Under-Graduates BA/BSc Examinations; she's naturally also the college topper of the year.
• The Preeti Gupta Medal is presented to the student who tops among the college students from the combined arts and science faculties in the BA/BSc Three years Undergraduate Examinations in that year.
• The Surama Devi Medal is presented to the student securing the highest marks in the Faculty of Arts in the Three years BA Honours Undergraduate Examinations in that year.
• Professor Riza-ul-karim Smriti Puraskar & Bhabani Sankar Dey Smriti Puraskar is presented to the student topping the Faculty of Science in the Three years BSc Honours Undergraduate Examinations in that year.
• Sovona Devi Smriti Puroskar to the student securing highest marks in faculty of Arts in Three years BA (Honours) Undergraduate Examinations in the year.

Students topping their respective departments in the Three years BA/BSc Honours Undergraduate Examinations in the year are awarded with the following memorial prizes. Given below are the names of the departments and the award (s) given to their toppers
