Premvati Raghubir Singh Scholarships

    Two scholarships awarded every year among resident students who have obtained a I Division in the last examination taken and are in need of financial help.

    R.B. Ram Kishan Dass Scholarships

      25 scholarships awarded every year to needy and deserving students of the College provided they have secured at least 55% marks in the last examination taken. Scholarships will usually be tenable for one year.

      Ch. Bhagwan Sahai Chauhan Memorial Scholarships

        • One scholarship awarded every year to the student joining M.A. Sanskrit/ Hindi (P). and (F) securing the highest marks amongst those getting a First Division.
        • One scholarship awarded every year to a Chauhan Rajput student of BA(H) I/II/III Year of Arts / Humanities who has secured a good division in the last examination taken.

        Rai Achhru Ram Scholarships

          4 scholarships awarded every year on merit to M.A./ M.Sc. students of the College.

          S.P. Raina Memorial Scholarship

            1 scholarship in the memory of late Shri S.P. Raina, Senior Faculty in English, Hindu College, Delhi, awarded every year to a BA (H) III Year student of Arts/ Humanities/ Commerce on the basis of performance in the University examination in Ist and IInd year.

            Ganpat Rai Gopal Devi Merit Scholarships

              2 scholarships awarded every year to BA(H) History III year students on the basis of their performance in Parts I and II of the University examinations (preferably to those who have secured a First Division).

              Lala Prem Lal Gupta Memorial Scholarship

                1 scholarship awarded every year on a merit-cum-means basis.

                Jeevan Lal Khanna Memorial Scholarships

                  2 scholarships awarded every year on a merit-cum-means basis to Science Students.

                  Rajiv Mehra Memorial Scholarship

                    Awarded every year to a needy and deserving student who is not a recipient of any Government, University, College Scholarship or any other scholarship, and it is usually tenable for one year.

                    Sultan Chand Memorial Scholarship

                      • 1 scholarship awarded every year to a B.Com (H) IInd year student,the topper of 1st year University Exam securing at least 75% marks in the 1st attempt.
                      • 1 scholarship awarded every year to a B.Com (H) IIIrd year student, the topper of IInd year University exam securing at least 75% marks in 1st attempt.

                      Master Sheoprasad Memorial Scholarship

                        Awarded per month for a year, to a BA /BSc Mathematics student of II/III year on merit –cum-means basis.

                        Dr. Deepak Kumar Sinha Memorial Scholarship

                          Awarded every year to a student of BA(H.) Hindi Final year on merit-cum-means basis.

                          Dr. S.S. Gulshan Scholarship

                            • 1 scholarship for a year, awarded to the B.Com (H.) III year student who secures First Position in the Part II Examination.
                            • 1 scholarship for a year, awarded to a poor student of B.Com (H) III year who has secured at least 50% marks in the Part II Examination.

                            Prof. R. R. Gupta Memorial Scholarship

                              Awarded to a needy and meritorious student of BA(H) Eng. (III year) on the basis of 2 year result performance.

                              Smt. Brij Verma (w/o Mr. P.C. Verma, Principal, 1980-1995) Memorial Scholarship

                                Awarded every year to a student on the basis of “merit-cum-need”  of Humanities/Social Sciences, with preference to a student of Hindi (H) I/ II/ III year.

                                Dr. (Miss) Usha Aggarwal scholarship

                                  Awarded in each Semester to B.Com. (H) students under the New Revised syllabus.

                                  Smt Roshan Devi Marwah and Sh. Dina NathMarwah (Parents) and Dr PranNathMarwah (Donor Son) Memorial Scholarship

                                    4 scholarships awarded every year to B.Sc students of III and IV Semester (combined) and V and VI Semester (combined) on the basis of 'Merit cum Means'.

                                    Surendra Gupta Family and ARC scholarship

                                      4 scholarships awarded every year to students who secure first position in the University Examination of BSc (H) in Chemistry and Physics, III and IV Semester (combined) as well as Bachelor with Honours in Chemistry and Physics, I and II Semester (combined).

                                      B M Bhatia Scholarship

                                        Awarded every year to student of BA (H) Economics for securing maximum marks in first year.

                                        Dr Deepak Kumar Sinha Memorial Scholarship

                                          2 Scholarships on the basis of merit cum means awarded per month for ten months to 1 student of M.A. Hindi (P) and 1 student of M.A. Hindi (F).

                                            Hindhu College Scholarship:-

                                            Numerous scholarships are available in Hindu College New Delhi of different schemes. Scholarships in Hindu College does not only cater to the economically weaker students but also to the students who are bright. There is a total of 17 scholarship schemes that is awarded to the meritorious students for their studies, achievements, and motivations by Hindu College. There are no SC/ST/OBC or reserved Scholarship Schemes in Hindu College but Hindu College Provides Scholarships to Meritorious and Needy students each year.

                                            There are 17 different scholarship modules in Hindu College that are,

                                            1. Premvati Raghubir Singh Scholarships - Two scholarships of the value of 775/-, awarded every year among the resident students who obtain First Division in the last examination taken and are in need of financial help. payment of hostel charges, purchase of books etc. are the fields the scholarship money is used for.

                                            2. R.B. Ram Kishan Dass Scholarships - 25 scholarships of the value of `1000/- each, out of a donation made by R.B.Ram Kishan Dass, awarded every year to needy and deserving students of Hindu College. Hindu College provides the scholarship if they have secured at least 55% marks in the last examination taken and are not recipients of any other scholarship program.

                                            3. Ch. Bhagwan Sahai Chauhan Memorial Scholarship - Out of two scholarships, One scholarship of `300/-, awarded every year to the student joining Masters in Sanskrit or Hindi securing the highest marks. Another Scholarship, of `300/-, awarded every year to a Chauhan Rajput student of B.A. (Hons) who has Secured a good division in the last examination.

                                            4. Rai Achhru Ram Scholarships - Four scholarships, of `850/- each, awarded every year by Hindu University on merit to M.A. or M.Sc Students of the College. Two scholarships are for the Previous, and two for the Final year, respectively. They firstly get awarded to students securing the highest percentage of marks at least a second division in the examination concerned.

                                            5. S.P. Raina Memorial Scholarships - In the memory of late Shri. S.P. Raina, Senior Faculty in English, Hindu College, Delhi, awards a 425/- scholarship every year to a B.A. (H) and Commerce III year student on the basis of performance in the University examination in the first and second year. The student must not be a recipient of any other Government, University or College scholarship. The scholarship will be awarded on the basis of merit.

                                            6. Ganpat Rai Gopal Devi Merit Scholarship - Two scholarships of the value of `625/- each, awarded every year to B.A. (Hons) History 3rd-year students on the basis of their performance in part 1 and 2 of the University examinations (Preferably to those who have secured the First Division).

                                            8. Jeevan Lal Khanna Memorial Scholarships - Two scholarships of the value of `1750/- each awarded every year on a merit basis to Science Students. If no or only one science student fulfills the conditions, the remaining scholarships may be awarded to Arts Students.

                                            9. Mrs. Kailashwati Khanna Scholarship - A scholarship of `425/- for a Year.

                                            10. Nangia Scholarship - A scholarship of `400/- for a year.

                                            11. Rajiv Mehra Memorial Scholarship - A scholarship of `300/- awarded every year to a needy and deserving student who is not a recipient of any Government, University, College Scholarship or any other scholarship, and it is tenable for one year.

                                            12. Sultan Chand Memorial Scholarship - (a) One scholarship, of the value of `3100/- every year will be awarded to a B.Com (H) 2nd year student who is the topper of 1 year University Exam, in absence of such candidate, student securing at least 75% Marks in the 1 attempt will be the recipient. Another scholarship of the value of `3100/- every year will be awarded to a B.Com (H) 3rd-year student, of same eligibility and achievement in 2nd-year examination.

                                            13. Master Sheoprasad Memorial Scholarship - A scholarship of `8000/- per year for a year will be awarded to a Mathematics student of the second or third year on a merit-cum-means basis.

                                            14. Dr. Deepak Kumar Sinha Memorial Scholarship - A scholarship of `625/- per awarded every year to a student of B.A(H) Hindi Final year on a merit-cum-means basis.

                                            15. O.P. Kaushik Memorial Scholarship - A scholarship of `625/-, awarded every year.

                                            16. Dr. S .S.Gulshan Scholarship - Two scholarships of `3200/- for a year, awarded to the B.Com (H) 3rd year student who secures First Position in the part II Examination and another scholarship,  awarded to a poor student of B.Com (H) III year who has secured at least 50% marks in the part II Examination. Attested copy of the BPL/PR/PRS/AAY/Ration Card is mandatory for the second instance.

                                            17. Prof. Brij Verma (w/o Mr. P.C.Verma, Principal, 1980- 1995) Memorial Scholarship - One scholarship of `5500/- will be awarded every year to a student of Humanities / Social Science on the basis of 'merit-cum-need', with preference to a student of Hindi (Hons.). The awardee should be a First Class who is in need of financial help.

                                            18. Prof. R.R. Gupta Memorial Scholarship - One scholarship of the value of `7700/- will be awarded a needy and meritorious and student of B.A (Hons) English final year on the basis of 2-year result performance.

                                            19. Dr. (Miss) Usha Aggarwal Scholarship - One scholarship of the value of `3500/- will be instituted for per Annum year to B.Com (Hons) students.

                                            20. Smt. Roshan Devi Marwah and Sh. Dina Nath Marwah (Parents) and Dr. Pran Nath Marwah (Donor Son) Memorial Scholarship - Four scholarships of `3000/- each will be awarded every year to B.Sc students of III & IV Semester (combined) and V & VI Semester (combined) on the basis of 'Merit Cum Means'.

                                            21. Surendra & Karen Gupta ARC Foundation - 4 scholarships of `10000/- each will be awarded every year to students who secure first position in the University Examination of B.Sc (Hons) in Chemistry and Physics, III & IV Semester (combined) as well as Bachelor's with honors in Chemistry and Physics Major Disciplines, 1 & 2 Semester (Combined).

                                            22. Nikhil Yadav Memorial - Two Scholarship of `5000/- each will be awarded to B.Com (Hons) Students.

                                            23. S.K. Mishra Memorial - A Scholarship of `5000/- will be awarded to a student of B.Com (Hons) in the 3rd year on the merit cum means basis (on the basis of 2nd year performance).

                                            24. Late Shri Ram Kishan Das Jain Memorial - Two Scholarships of `3500/- each one for the first year one for second-year students will be awarded to the student of B.Sc (Hons) Mathematics.

                                            25. Dr. B.M. Bhatia Scholarship - One Scholarship of `7000/- for student attaining maximum marks in B.A. (Hons) in Economics at 1st year.

                                            26. Deepak Sinha Memorial Scholarship - Two Scholarship of `12000/- each, for one student of Masters in Hindi for two consecutive years. The basic criteria of awarding the scholarship will be merit-cum- means.

                                            27. Sanjay Srivastava Scholarship - One Scholarship of `10,000/- each will be awarded to the topper of Ist year, IInd year and IIIrd year student of B.A. (Hons) History.
