Hindusthan Group Of Institutions Scholarships 2024 - Details, Eligibility, Amount

Hindusthan Educational and Charitable Trust (HECT) works towards making education affordable for the underprivileged students by offering educational scholarships and fee concessions. Free seats are also allotted to economically backward students with good academic records.

Government scholarships can also be availed by the students

Those who pass the HSC exams will get fee concession in Hindusthan College of Arts and Science. Those who have the following:

• Centum in three subjects will get 100%
• Centum in two subjects will get 50%
• All district toppers in Tamil Nadu will get 100&
• State Level Athletics and Sports will get 50%
• More than 1100 marks will get 30%

Government of India Scholarship

Students belonging to SC/ST will be eligible to apply for this scholarship.

National Loan Scholarship

Students who score 50% and above in the Higher Secondary exam can apply for this scholarship. Preference will be given to those students who have scored 60% and above.

Backward Class Welfare State Scholarship

Students who belong to the backward/most backward classes can apply for this scholarship if the annual income of their parents does not exceed Rs.50,000.

Scholarship for Physically Handicapped Students

The application form to apply for this scholarship is available at the office of the Director of Social Welfare, 486, Anna Salai, Nandanam, Chennai 600035 with a stamped envelope.

Harijan Welfare Scholarship Under State Scheme

Students belonging to Adi-Dravidar converts are eligible for this scholarship. The annual income of their parents should not be more than Rs.50, 920.

Defence Service Personnel’s Children

Children of Defence Service Personnel can apply for entire fee concession

Harijan Welfare Loan Scholarship

This scholarship is for the SC students who are staying in the hostel.

Scholarship for the Children, Grand Children of Freedom Fighters

Students who are the children or grandchildren of freedom fighters and whose monthly income is not more than Rs.560 can avail this scholarship.

Scholarship for Children of Ex-Servicemen

Children of Ex-Servicemen can submit the application form by contacting the District Soldiers and Sailors and Airmen Board Office.
