PBCE Chennai Scholarships 2024 - Details, Eligibility, Amount

Tamil Nadu Government has granted Tuition Fee waiver to first Generation graduate students admitted to First Year B.E. / B. Tech. / B. Arch. degree courses under government quota through Single Window Counseling and also to First Generation Graduate Students admitted to Direct Second Year (Lateral Entry) under graduate quota through Single Window Counseling from the academic year 2010 – 2011 onwards.

• The Tuition Fee concession to first generation graduate student is subjected to the following condition :

• The student should be admitted under Government Quota through Single Window

• There is no graduate in the family of the student granted Tuition Fee concession under this scheme

• The student is the first person in the family to claim the Tuition Fee waiver for entire professional course of study.

Students belonging to backward classes, most backward classes and de – notified tribes are eligible for this scholarship provided the parents / guardian’s annual income does not exceed Rs. 60,000/-.
